Small resort, nice people, and really liked it. We are thinking of buying there.
Stayed at South Shores Resort, Samvburg, TN.for Pelican Festival. Oct 19th, 2024. Wonderful, immaculate well stocked kitchetts in rooms....older motel.....but owner has done wonders with it.....one feels you are visiting an era gone by.....where the customer is special and owners see to that.....wonderful restaurant just steps out of ones door.....they also have boat , kayaks rentals..individual cabins for rent also....very very quiet.....this is an older motel and rooms were built so that there is little to no noise from adjoin rooms .....we slept so good.....all one needs to prepare meals...just bring your own supply of groceries......we had to leave unexpectedly....due to crisis w/ one of our animals at home and did not get our full stay.....but will definately book for other events....or just some get away time....great place.....food/ service at restaurant is excellent!! I live here six months out of the year and love it.
It's a 55 plus park .nice and clean .in the winter there are lot's of activity . The pool overlooks the lake ,it's beautiful . Convenient to Wal-Mart and other shopping .but it's still outside of the city .It's a peaceful place to live .
It's a beautiful little slice of "Mayberry" right here in Central Florida... Very friendly and helpful neighbors in this fun loving community!
